Joy Williams is a Los Angeles-based hairstylist, texture specialist, and beauty expert with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Houston, she brings a luxury, client-focused approach to hair care, specializing in healthy styling for all textures.
Her services include precision cuts, custom color, and expert styling for natural and multi-textured hair. She is certified in multiple hair extension techniques and provides customization, cutting, and coloring for extensions. She also offers elevated styling for bridal, pageants, and special occasions.
Joy’s work has taken her backstage at some of the world’s most prestigious events. She served as Lead Stylist for Miss Universe 2019, was a 3-time Miss USA Key Stylist (2019–2021), and Hair & Makeup Sponsor for Miss Black USA 2023. She has also led and contributed to hair and makeup teams at New York Fashion Week.
In addition to her work behind the chair, Joy is a published beauty writer featured in O Magazine, Cosmopolitan, and American Salon.
